Culture is behaviour

What a pleasure to deliver a keynote talk at the Euresa Innovations Forum last week. I was invited by Hilde Vernaillen , President at P&V Insurance to share my 10 insights for truly inclusive workplaces.

What works and what doesn't?

The more companies I support, the more I see that it comes down to daily inclusive behaviour. And it's up to all leaders to stimulate a team to drive such behaviour. And to speak up when it's not ok. An inclusive workplace is a journey.

It's not a sprint, but a marathon.

And I hate running.

Er is geen duurzame transitie mogelijk zonder inclusieve organisatiecultuur. Pas als iedereen zich op zijn of haar plek voelt, kan je goed samenwerken, en samen waarde creëren. Let op, dat kost tijd. Ook ik werk makkelijker samen met mensen die op mij lijken. 

Ensemble, faisons plus souvent la réflexion sur notre propre comportement. D' écouter plus souvent que de parler, en se rendant compte que 'Je ne suis pas la norme'. N"oubliez pas que chacun de nous fait partie de la solution, ou du problème.
