Start with the end

Do you ever get worked up about the state of the world, your work, or your circle of friends? Does it make you angry or just sad? That is good news.
You are not (yet) apathetic. Perhaps you are already in the danger zone of cynicism. You have a sense of powerlessness. At home, at work, in society. The world is going to hell and we can't do anything about it.
I feel you.
Think again. You can do something about it.
You can turn your passive annoyance into active actions.
And you don't have to do that alone. Change the world, start with yourself.
Start a community . Set something in motion together with other people.
In your neighborhood, at work, or in society. Not online, but in real life. Call it a network, an alliance, a club, a tribe, whatever....
This is the moment to switch from the me-model to the we-model.
72Hours Reload & Expert Database, 2 examples of communities with impact.
But how do you get started?
I would like to share 2 concrete tips from my experience:
👉 Start with the end: state what change you would like to see. Very often, I see no shared understanding of exactly what success means in a partnership. You need to be able to measure it, not only as input but also as output. What impact do you want?
👉 Think consciously about why, when, with whom, and how you do it so that you truly have an impact on the world around you? In your neighborhood, at work, or in society?
Need more tips?
I am curious what your desired impact is. You can just tell me. Schedule a meeting via the button at the top of this page.
Or do you have an existing network, alliance, or ecosystem that needs a little oxygen or needs to change course? Perhaps we could take a look at it together? I would be happy to tell you about how I do that in my projects Expertendatabank and Dasgeniaal.
Talk to you soon,
Elke Jeurissen
